WAFWA Grouse Workshop: Call for Papers
The Western Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies’ Sage and Columbian Sharp-tailed Grouse Technical Committee invites submission of oral and poster presentations for the 31st biennial workshop in Billings Montana, June 18-21, 2018.
Presentations on research, ecology, and management of Gunnison Sage-grouse, Greater Sage-grouse, and Columbian Sharp-tailed Grouse are welcome and encouraged at the 31st Sage & Colombian Sharp-tailed Grouse Workshop. Papers discussing partnerships, landowner perspectives and human dimensions, and ecology of the sagebrush biome are also welcome. Oral presentations will be 15-minutes with additional time for questions (regular session) or 10-minutes with questions at the end of the session (lightning-round session).
Abstracts Submission Deadline: Oral and poster submissions will be accepted until April 15, 2018. Please submit abstracts as a word document attachment to Catherine Wightman at cwightman@mt.gov. Authors may state, in body of email, a preference for a regular or lightning-round session but final determination will be made by the WAFWA review team.
Contributors will be notified of abstract acceptance by May 4, 2018.
